a boy and his ghost

A gift for Her character Blue and my character Liam. For those wondering why Liam's design is nearly identical to Van's, let's say it's a bit like convergent evolution. I was designing Van for one project and doodling Liam independently, and the two designs got more and more similar until the only difference was hair colour -- and Van's goatee, if you look really, really closely.

As for the colour style, has been posting alot recently and her digital pieces have that great traditional-looking texture on it -- so I thought I'd try out something similar, mostly to get it out of my system.
